Stanford Finance Corporation (SFC) values your personal information and is committed to protect your privacy by ensuring that the company processes the personal information collected from you consistent with the principles of transparency, legitimate purpose and proportionality in compliance with Republic Act No. 10173, or otherwise known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

1 WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT FROM YOU?
When you avail of the loan products or offerings of SFC, we may collect the following personal information from you:
    (1) Personal data which includes your name, address, marital status, income details, family affiliations, among others.
    (2) Personal contact details such email address, landline, mobile number, social media accounts;
    (3) Demographic profile such as age, gender, religion, among others.
2 HOW DO WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We collect your Personal Information in the following ways:
    (1) When you fill up and sign loan documents such as Personal Loan Application Form, Promissory Note, among others.
    (2) When you provide us copies of identity verification requirements such as government-issued Identification cards and similar documents.
    (3) When we conduct clarification interview in connection with your loan application;
    (4) When you inquire through our website or social media accounts.
3 WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF COLLECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM YOU?
We use the Personal Information collected from you to:
    (1) Assess and process your loan application;
    (2) Conduct reasonable background verification of your identity and credit standing;
    (3) Communicate with you with regard to the status of your account while processing your application and during the effectivity of your loan;
    (4) Comply with the requirements of government regulatory agencies for investigation, reporting and other legal purposes.
    (5) Notify you of our products, marketing or promotional offers from time to time.
4 DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH THIRD PARTIES?
To the extent permitted by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its implementing Rules and Regulations, we may share your Personal Information with the following:
    (1) Collection agencies for collection purposes, if necessary;
    (2) Credit bureaus to comply with our credit reporting obligations;
    (3) Legal Team of the company for filing of appropriate legal actions, if necessary.
    (4) Other third parties under which the company is with legal duty to provide, upon proper request, your personal information pursuant to a legal or government regulatory mandate.

In these instances, the company executes the applicable sharing and/or confidentiality agreement with such third parties to ensure protection of your personal information from unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure and/or retention.

5 UNTIL WHEN DO WE RETAIN THE COLLECTED PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We retain the personal information collected from you for a period of ten (10) years from full payment of your outstanding obligation with us and/or lawful termination of your loan obligation, unless we are obliged to retain your personal information longer pursuant to some existing laws or court order for a specific, relevant and lawful purpose.
6 HOW DO WE STORE AND DISPOSE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We implement appropriate and reasonable organizational, physical, and technical security measures for the protection of your personal data from loss, unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

Among our internal security controls are as follows:

    (a) Authentication and access control measures which restrict the access to files and records with Personal Information to authorized employees of the company;
    (b) Our computer systems are equipped with data encryption, firewall, anti-virus software and other similar protection mechanisms;
    (c) We have up-to-date firewall protection and operating system patches that secure files containing personal information on systems that are connected to the internet;
    (d) We provide education and training to employees regarding data privacy protection and the proper use of computer security system;
    (e) We store Personal Information in a secure data facility.

    With regard to disposal of personal information, we use only secure and appropriate procedures to destroy your personal information taking into consideration its classification (low-risk or high-risk). Specifically, we use shredding machines to destroy paper-based personal information and technologically secure erasing device or system to make the digital-based personal information unreadable and irretrievable, among other devices or systems.

7 WHAT ARE YOUR DATA PRIVACY RIGHTS?
We honor and respect t your privacy rights.
